Starting January 1, 2018, Hodges University will become a
tobacco-free campus and will join 34 colleges and universities in the state of
Florida who have committed to being 100 percent tobacco-free campuses.
At Hodges, we are committed to providing transformational
and learner-driven educational opportunities for our students, as well as
providing a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff and
campus visitors. Through this initiative, Hodges will provide various cessation
resources, including programs and services, to students, faculty and staff who
express a desire to quit using tobacco products.
Throughout the year, you will see updated material posted on
Hodges’ website, providing additional information regarding cessation
resources, frequently asked questions, promotional videos and upcoming events.
We encourage you to “Breathe Easy at Hodges” and thank you
for joining us in our efforts to become a tobacco-free university.
