    Welcome from the Dean

It is a pleasure to welcome you to Hodges University as a new or continuing student in the School of Liberal Studies (SOLS).

The School of Liberal Studies offers English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and a college preparatory course for advanced ESL students. The school houses the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) that focuses on Writing Across the Disciplines. The SOLS also offers required courses for other degree programs at Hodges University.

The School of Liberal Studies and Hodges University offer many benefits such as:

    • Small class sizes so students are able to get to know their professors on a one-to-one basis.
    • Qualified faculty, many of them have real-world experience.
    • Faculty and staff ready to help students who need assistance.
    • Programs offered in a variety of methods to suit the needs of the adult learner. They are offered live and online, blended and in accelerated formats so students may graduate sooner.

I know you will enjoy your time here at Hodges. I have an open door policy so please stop by my office.
