Obtaining a college degree is one of the largest single investments you will make, and we strongly believe that a Hodges University education is well worth the investment. Hodges University’s Offices of Student Financial Services can provide assistance to help you finance your education when personal and family resources are not adequate to meet your total educational expenses.
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step toward getting federal aid for college. Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free and quick, and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college. It can also determine your eligibility for state and school aid.
A Hodges University financial aid counselor can help you understand your options for paying for college and guide you through the process of applying for different types of aid.
Grants and scholarships are awarded based on both need and merit and are essentially free money for students who meet eligibility requirements. Unlike grants, loans are funds borrowed by a student and/or his/her parents and must be repaid with interest. Work study programs allow students to take on part-time jobs while they are enrolled at Hodges University.
Your Award Letter tells you what financial aid you can receive at Hodges University. The letter includes the types and amounts of financial aid you may receive from federal, state and school sources.
To remain eligible for financial aid, students must progress towards the completion of their academic program. Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is checked at the time your FAFSA results are received and at the end of each academic term.
