A member of Hodges University’s faculty since 2005, Nancy Cheser teaches as an English as a Second Language (ESL) professor. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography, a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Science in Education.
Apart from her work as a professor, Cheser has embraced her creative side actively. She has many photographs displayed in museums, and she is currently working on a musical play titled, Present Perfect, which is based on her experiences teaching ESL. The first public performance was held in Miami in 2016 and readings were held in New York.
Cheser is the recipient of the St. Botolph Emerging Artist Grant, and in her spare time, she enjoys photography and theater.
