Originally from Michigan, and after spending many years in Maine, Professor Mary Jo MacLaughlin moved to Florida with her husband to enjoy family and friends. Serving as an assistant professor at Hodges University, her extensive background working in health care spans more than 30 years, and she has worked in both large and rural health care systems. She has worked as a health care management consulting practice leader, serving national health care clients, and she is a frequent regional and national speaker who addresses critical health care and information technology topics.
MacLaughlin is board certified in health care management as a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Outside of her academic duties, she enjoys the vast amount of sports and activities that Southwest Florida has to offer.
