Dr. Karen McKenzie is a highly educated individual with more than 30 years of business experience. Since 2010, she has been a faculty member at Hodges University, serving as a professor, program chair and adjunct professor.
For 30 years, she worked as a sales, marketing and logistics analyst for Delphi, a global technology company for automotive and commercial vehicle markets. Discovering her passion for teaching, she joined Hodges in 2010 as a professor teaching management, leadership, human resources and business administration courses. In 2014, she accepted the position of program chair for the Marketing and Branding department. While currently serving as an adjunct professor at Hodges, she is also an adjunct professor of marketing at Florida Southwestern State College.
McKenzie is a mentor for the PACE Center for Girls. She previously served as an instructor for Dress for Success SWFL teaching resume and cover letter courses.
In 2012, she was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society at Hodges University and is involved in various organizations, including president of the American Business Women’s Association, advisor of the Hodges University Business Club and member of the Education Committee with the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce.
When she isn’t in the classroom, McKenzie enjoys golfing, traveling and collecting antiques.
