Nonprofit Leaders Learn How to Select and Retain Top Talent

Southwest Florida nonprofit leaders will learn ways to recruit, select and retain top talent with the help of Hodges University’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE). Two workshops hosted by the center in July will focus on building talent strategy within nonprofits.

The “Selecting and Retaining Top Talent in Nonprofits” workshop will take place from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 14. Debbie Mathews Finch from Mathews Finch Consulting Group will discuss ways to select and retain top talent within nonprofits in this second in a series of three Talent Strategy workshops. With more than 38 years of recruiting and selection experience, Mathews will provide valuable tools to conduct a successful search. The workshop will be held in the Stock Building, John White Community Room on the Naples campus – 2647 Professional Way, Naples, FL 34119.

The “Retaining Your Employees – Especially the Superkeepers” workshop will take place from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28. Debbie Mathews Finch from Mathews Finch Consulting Group will discuss the unique workforce demographics in Southwest Florida and ways to retain great employees. This third in a series of Talent Strategy workshops will be held in the Stock Building, John White Community Room on the Naples campus – 2647 Professional Way, Naples, FL 34119.

The registration fee is $35 per workshop, unless otherwise noted. CNE participants who attend four workshops in each governance, operations or management can earn a noncredit certificate in the topic area.
