New trends in philanthropy to be discussed
The Center for Nonprofit Excellence at Hodges University will offer a session on the latest trends in philanthropy on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hodges Naples campus, 2655 Northbrooke Drive.
During this forum Dr. Una Okonkwo Osili, Director of Research at the Center on Philanthropy, will not only review recent giving trends based on Giving USA 2014, but will also examine some key research findings conducted by The Center on Philanthropy such as the Million Dollar List, Bank of America Study of Philanthropy Among High Net Worth Households as well as Women's Giving.
Dr. Una Okonkwo Osili is Director of Research at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. An internationally recognized expert on philanthropy, Dr. Osili frequently speaks across the country on issues related to national and international trends in philanthropy and has been quoted by national news media outlets such as The New York Times, the Chronicle of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Times. She earned her B.A. in Economics at Harvard University, and her M.A., and Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University.
