Legal Professionals to Learn about Identity Theft Restoration and Data Breach Response Plans

workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. March 24. Accepted for six
General CLE credits from the Florida Bar Association, legal professionals who
are responsible for the security of protected personal identifying information

breach; how to reduce the risk of a breach; identify applicable privacy laws;
and develop a data breach response plan. The cost to attend is $345 or $295 for
nonprofit and government employees, and the deadline to register is March 17.

attorneys, paralegals and other legal professionals interested in assisting
their clients with identity theft restoration and risk reduction are encouraged
to attend. Participants will learn about the relationship between the types of
identity theft and the methods used by identity thieves, as well as the process
to restore an identity and methods to reduce the risk of future incidents.
