Hodges to host SWFL chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants

The Southwest Florida chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) will present Outlook 2014 at Hodges University on January 7, 2014 at the Fort Myers Campus and January 8, 2014 at Naples Campus. During the two-day event guest speakers will discuss the outlook for national and regional economic and capital markets. The breakfast roundtables will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on both days. The IMA, led by President, Michael Kosinski, CPA, is the organizer of these events.

Featured speakers include Dr. Aysegul Timur, Professor of Economics for Hodges University, and Andrew D.W. Hill, President and Co-Founder of Andrew Hill Investment Advisors. A roundtable discussion follows the presentations, moderated by John S. Cox, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Timur is Program Chair of Business Administration and Public Administration for the undergraduate and graduate programs at the Johnson School of Business at Hodges University. Her areas of specialization include business policy and organizational development, quality control, statistics for strategic planning, health (especially pharmaceutical pricing) and international economics. She has been a faculty member at Hodges University for 13 years. In 2012, Dr. Timur partnered with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce on a Collier County Comparative Analysis project. 

Hill is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a former Certified Public Accountant (CPA). As a former senior portfolio manager for several regional trust banks, Hill has leveraged his experience by establishing investment policies that provide his clients with a heightened level of investment insight and a rewarding financial legacy. Hill has been interviewed on CNBC, FOX and numerous local networks discussing financial issues and conservation issues.
