Hodges University to hold investiture ceremony for new president

Naples Campus

The investiture of Dr. Jeanette Brock as the second president of Hodges University will take place on Friday, March 14, beginning at 2 pm, at the Hodges Naples campus, 2655 Northbrooke Drive.

Local community leaders will join Hodges faculty, trustees and members of the university community in procession at this historic academic ceremony to mark an important leadership transition.

Along with the inaugural address by Dr. Brock, the event will include a keynote speech by Dr. Ed Moore, president
of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF). Hodges University is one of 31 Florida institutions represented by ICUF.

An investiture is a formal ceremony recognizing the official designation of a university president. Typically held during or at the end of the president’s first year in office, the investiture confers the authority and symbols of the office upon the president. This academic inauguration allows the campus community to mark the beginning of a new era and formally welcome the new president.
