Hodges University renames Science and Technology Building as the Stock Building
Hodges University has renamed its Science and Technology Building on the Naples campus as the Stock Building in honor of Stock Development. The naming is in recognition of the Stock family and their generous support of the institution. The university purchased the building from Stock Development in 2013 and has occupied most of the building since 2008.
“We are very appreciative of the support we’ve received from both Stock Development and the Stock family for the past several years,” said Dr. David Borofsky, president of Hodges University. “Their dedication and commitment to our institution has made a difference in the lives of our students, and, in effect, the community we serve.”
The Stock Building houses several labs and classrooms for the School of Allied Health and the Fisher School of Technology, as well as staff and faculty offices, the Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning and the John W. White Community Room.
