Michelle Zamniak

Hodges University is pleased to welcome Michelle Zamniak as its community relations manager within both the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of Advancement.

“Michelle will be instrumental in aiding our engagement with area high schools, corporate partners, corporate training, university advancement, and other external relationships,” said Dr. John Meyer, executive vice president of academic affairs at Hodges University.

Earning a bachelor’s degree in supervision and management from Edison State College (now known as Florida SouthWestern State College) in May 2011, Zamniak has more than 20 years of experience serving in management positions with local nonprofits and learning institutions. She also holds certifications in developing leadership for major gifts and principles and techniques of fundraising, in addition to a YMCA of the USA Program School certificate.

“My excitement and passion for workforce education is something I love to share with students, colleagues, community members, corporate partners and potential donors,” said Zamniak.

Prior to her arrival at Hodges in September 2017, she was the senior coordinator of retention and student success within the School of Business & Technology at Florida SouthWestern State College.

From 1997 to 2010, she worked at Renaissance Montessori School in Fort Myers. Starting as the lead infant and toddler teacher, she advanced within the organization to become assistant head of school.

Zamniak is actively involved within the Southwest Florida community and held board and/or committee positions at Florida SouthWestern State College, Renaissance Montessori School, Six Mile Charter Academy School and the National Academic Advising Association.
