Hodges University Welcomes Fort Myers ITT Students

Hodges University News

Hodges University is now accepting students previously enrolled at ITT Technical Institute’s Fort Myers campus.

The recent announcement of ITT closing its doors has left its students looking for other options to continue their education. In an effort to assist these students during this difficult time, Hodges officials ensure a smooth transition for students opting to enroll at the nonprofit university.

“Hodges is a transfer-friendly institution accepting transfer credits from both regionally and nationally accredited institutions,” said Brent Passey, vice president of enrollment management at Hodges University.

This is good news for students since ITT states on their website, “credits earned are unlikely to transfer.”

In addition to transfer credits, Passey adds that former ITT students may qualify to receive scholarships from Hodges, saying, “Students in the Southwest Florida area who have been negatively impacted by the loss of access to federal financial aid at ITT may be eligible for a Hodges University scholarship award up to $2,000 for fall 2016 enrollment,” said Passey.
