Hodges University Invites Aspiring Licensed Practical Nurses to Attend Informational Sessions
in becoming licensed practical nurses (LPNs) will have the opportunity to learn
more about Hodges University’s LPN certificate program thanks to Hodges’ Director of Nursing
Dr. Holly Madison.
“The School of Allied
Health invites aspiring LPNs to attend one of the available sessions. We will
discuss what applicants must do in order to gain entry into the program, career
and salary opportunities for LPNs, the course plan, and provide information
about the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam,” said Madison.
Approved by the Florida
Board of Nursing, Hodges’ LPN certificate program is completed in 12 months.
Offered on evenings and weekends at Hodges’ Naples campus, the program will
combine in-class lectures, laboratory procedures and clinical experience. In
addition, the program is designed to interface with other degree programs,
allowing graduates to seek professional growth opportunities.
The sessions will be
held April 18 and 25 from 5:00-5:30 p.m. in the Stock Building, Room 237 on the
Naples campus, which is located at 2647 Professional Way, Naples, FL 34119.
The last day to
register for Hodges’ LPN program is May 5.
