Hodges University News

NAPLES, Fla. – March 22, 2016 - The Hodges University Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) is hosting two workshops in April. The registration fee is $35 per workshop. CNE participants who attend four workshops in either governance, operations or management can earn a noncredit certificate in the topic area.

The “Strategic Visioning to Create Your Best Plan” workshop will take place from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5. Daniel Chiodo, founder and president of iMPACT Training & Executive Coaching, will discuss the components that make a great strategic plan and how these components can be applied to your organization. The workshop will be held in the Kleist Community Room, Building H on the Fort Myers campus – 4501 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33966.

The “Develop a Talent Strategy to Recruit and Retain the Best Employees to Support Your Nonprofit” workshop will take place from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 14. Attendees will learn how to recruit and retain employees with the help of Debbie Mathews Finch from the Mathews Finch Consulting Group. Through a proprietary process called The Talent Strategy Building Process (TSBP), organizations can develop and link their unique talent strategy to their strategic plan, which in turn will drive their mission. The result is a robust talent strategy that will be aligned with and drive their strategic plan, making it easier to recruit and retain employees. The workshop will be held in the White Community Room, Stock Building on the Naples campus – 2647 Professional Way, Naples FL 34119.

For a full list of upcoming workshops, and to register, visit www.hodges.edu/cne. Contact Marian Klink at cne@hodges.edu for additional information. To obtain a certificate, participants must first register with the CNE and complete four workshops in one of the three categories.
