Center for Nonprofit Excellence to host two workshops for nonprofits

The Center for Nonprofit Excellence at Hodges University is kicking off the New Year with two workshops. “Beyond Sponsorship: A Better Approach to Corporate Funding” will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on January 13 at the Fort Myers campus, 4501 Colonial Blvd.  Debra Faulk, from Wells Fargo, will be presenting the session.

“Getting Started the Right Way—Bookkeeping for Nonprofits Using QuickBooks” will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on January 22 at the Naples campus, 2655 Northbrooke Drive. Tony Solgard, Bookkeepers Plus, will present this computer-based workshop using QuickBooks that will assist the new nonprofit organization in setting up its books, basic accounting principles, and understanding the finances of nonprofits.  This workshop is limited to 30 seats. To register for either of these workshops, go to
