Center for Nonprofit Excellence holds session on website basics and best practices

Hodges University News

The Center for Nonprofit Excellence at Hodges University will offer a session on the basics and best practices on websites for nonprofits. The session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Hodges Fort Myers campus, 4501 Colonial Blvd.

Most nonprofits realize a website is important, but few maximize the true potential of their sites. Whether a nonprofit is creating a new website or considering a redesign, this session will help with the basics and best practices for hosting a website and how to maximize the investment of time and money.

Topics covered will include domains, hosting, audiences, content, navigation, usability, branding, templates, secure servers, search engines, analytics and social media. A glossary of web terms, how-to's and other references will be provided.

Presenting the workshop will be Jeanne Bolds, president of Bold Solutions LLC, a technology firm helping nonprofit leaders skillfully and confidently use technology to fulfill their mission.

To register for this session, log onto or call 239-598-6284.
