Working her way up through the ranks of nursing, Professor Tracy Ramsay graduated high school as a certified nursing assistant. Since that time, she has served as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and registered nurse (RN). For 20 years, she worked as a clinical oncology nurse at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. She also worked per diem at a local infectious disease office administering IV antibiotics to clients with infectious processes including bone and soft tissue.
Her time spent teaching includes three years in the classroom and clinical hospital settings teaching Practical Nursing. She is an adjunct professor at Herzing University teaching Nursing Informatics, Nursing Leadership and Management, and Professional Role Transition. Since 2012, she has worked at Hodges University as an adjunct faculty member, assistant professor and director of common core, and director of program development.
Ramsay is also a student in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at South University in Savannah, Georgia.
