Dr. Susan Anderson serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Health Services Administration degree programs at Hodges University. Before joining Hodges, she was the manager of customer service and training for Eye Centers of Florida in Fort Myers. In 2007, she received the American Society of Training and Development award for “Training Organization of the Year.” As manager, she led the organization in the implementation of the Physician’s Quality Reporting initiative, E-Prescribe initiative, and she served as the primary trainer for all federal and state compliance training and practice management computer programs. As a trainer, she developed and delivered continuing education programs for the nursing staff, ophthalmic assistant, coding staff and ophthalmic physicians.
She is currently a member of the Medical Group Management Association, Society for Human Resource Development, Association for Talent Development and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
