Dr. Rossana Garcia-Fernandez is an adjunct faculty member of chemistry in the School of Health Sciences at Hodges University.

She worked as a researcher in the field of biochemical analysis and biomedical sciences for more than 20 years. As part of her doctoral studies, she received research training as a DAAD grantee at the University of Hamburg in Germany.

Garcia-Fernandez has outstanding records of scientific and academic accomplishments with numerous publications in highly prestigious journals and various presentations at scientific conferences. She also has been involved in academic activities in undergraduate and graduate programs for the last 15 years.

She has taught several courses as a lecturer and laboratory instructor and has supervised the research projects of several students. García is also an adjunct instructor in the Department of Physics and Chemistry at Florida Gulf Coast University, and the Department of Sciences at Florida Southwestern State College.
