A two-time graduate of Hodges University, Robert Chalmers
serves as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Health Sciences’
healthcare office administration program. Earning both his bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in health services administration from Hodges, Chalmers was
named a Student of the Year while in his bachelor’s and master’s programs.
Chalmers brings with him to the classroom an extensive
educational and professional background in health and medical services. Apart
from his teaching responsibilities, Chalmers is currently the program
administrator of the Fire Rescue Division for the Pasco County Board of County
Commissioners, as well as a consultant and former chief operating officer of
Suncoast Perfusion Services.
Certified in pre-hospital trauma life support and advanced
cardiac life support, he is also an American Heart Association CPR healthcare
provider and certified peri-operative blood management technician, paramedic
and emergency medical technician.
Chalmers is a member of the Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals,
Society for Human Resource Management and American College of Healthcare
