A member of Hodges’ faculty since September 2015, Rick Durant has more than 35 years of banking and software technology experience, as well as 10 years of working in international operations throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Middle East, Caribbean and Latin America.
His previous experience includes serving as senior vice president for BancorpSouth, Inc. and Fidelity Information Systems, executive management for Fiserv, Inc., a principal at Alliance Force, Inc., professor at Southwest Florida College, and vice president of D+H USA, Inc.
Through his work, Durant enjoys sharing practical application and experience with students in collegiate level business courses. His expertise includes banking, finance, accounting, enterprise automation, product management, software development, international business, business management and education.
In 2005, he received the Professor of the Year award from Southwest Florida College and in his down time, he enjoys reading, music, fishing and spending time with his family.
