A certified management accountant, Dr. Phyllis Okrepkie currently serves as the vice president of accreditation and organizational advancement for the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Before joining IACBE, she was the senior system graduate academic dean and the online graduate academic dean at Herzing University.

Her other appointments included senior vice president of graduate studies and dean of the Harold D. Buckingham Graduate School at National American University (NAU), as well as an adjunct faculty member at NAU’s Colorado Springs campus.

Her career in higher education began in the early 1990s, and she has held administrative and faculty positions at Huron University and the University of Mary. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix, Colorado Technical University and Morgan Community College.

Her professional experience in accounting includes serving as a consultant with Vanguard Consulting, vice president of finance for Okrepkie Enterprises and Particle Interconnect Corporation, staff accountant for Kennedy and Coe, LLC-CPA, fiscal analyst for the Alabama state legislature, and financial management administrator for the government of Guam.

In her free time, she enjoys practicing martial arts and holds black belts in jujitsu and karate.
