Professor Patricia Racz has more than 30 years of experience in the human services field and has been with Hodges University since 2008. Receiving a master’s degree in education from International College in 2007, she opted to continue her education at Hodges, earning a second master’s degree in criminal justice, in 2009.
Racz has worked with children, adolescents, the homeless and elderly, individuals with AIDS, hospice patients, and she has worked in chemical dependency treatment and mental health. Before earning her master’s degrees, she attended the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross Hospice Training Institute to become a professional hospice specialist.
Her outside interests include posttraumatic growth, social justice, learning to cook and being a grandmother.
