A professor in Hodges University’s nursing program, Dr.
Jessica Palumbo joined the School of Health Sciences in October 2017.
With more than 30 years of professional experience, her
specializations include working as a staff nurse in neurology units, as a
clinical associate for the associate degree in nursing (ADNS) program, and as a
nurse researcher. Devoting many years to working at Naples Community Hospital,
she served as a staff nurse in the medical surgical unit, a charge nurse in the
orthopedic/neurology unit, an RN staff nurse in the neuroscience unit and a
disease-specific nurse researcher and case manager.
She is a member of the Florida Nurses Association (FNA) and
