Teaching in the Biomedical Sciences program in the School of Health Sciences at Hodges University, Deborah Schlief’s areas of expertise include hospital nursing including NICU, pediatrics, medical/surgical, family nurse practitioner and nursing education.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) in 2002 before going on to earn a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in 2007. In 2012, she received her family nurse practitioner certification from FGCU.
In addition to her educational background, Schlief’s professional work experience includes working in the NCH Healthcare System, at Edison State College, Hodges University and in student health services at FGCU.
