Daniel Long is an infrastructure and technology leader who has many years of experience in user support, information security, telephony/telecommunications, networking and business applications.

Joining Hodges University's Fisher School of Technology in 2002, he teaches courses in computer operating systems, project management, advanced project management, Microsoft Office Suite and network and voice communications.

Before arriving at Hodges, his professional experience included working for technology-based companies in the Midwest and in Southwest Florida. At the Collier County School District, he was a network services administrator before becoming manager of networking at NCH Healthcare System. He then spent the next 11 years at Allen Systems Group, eventually becoming senior director of infrastructure support. 

In 2014, while continuing to teach at Hodges, he became an applications analyst for the Collier County Government, supporting municipal systems in the Growth Management Division.
