Joining Hodges University in 2016, Chris Cozzolino is a faculty member in the Criminal Justice program in the Nichols School of Professional Studies. Teaching Criminal Justice courses for 16 years, he is enthusiastic about education and passionate about helping others succeed. Previously, he has served as a department chair of Criminal Justice, and he currently teaches at several local universities.
Prior to his work in academia, Cozzolino worked in child abuse and domestic violence prevention, as well as case management. He worked with The Yellow Umbrella, which allowed him the opportunity to work and educate adult and juvenile inmates at the Sharps Correctional Facility in Brevard County, Florida.
In 2008, he received a Teacher of the Year award, and in 2009, he was promoted to a senior online instructor.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking, gardening, playing guitar and fishing.
