An alumnus of Hodges University, attorney Dr. Carlos Baradat is an adjunct professor in the Legal Studies program. As a student, he was named Student of the Year for the Legal Studies program, was a presidential fellow, past president of the Legal Studies Society and member of student senate. He also graduated with honors. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he attended Florida A&M University, earning a Juris Doctor in 2012.

A member of Hodges’ faculty since 2014, he also serves on the Hodges University Academic Committee. During his time at Hodges, he has created the only certificate program on eDiscovery offered by a university in the state of Florida. He possesses more than 15 years of professional experience, working in business, administration, law and information technology.

Apart from his work at Hodges, he oversees the information technology and litigation support department for Cheffy Passidomo, P.A. law firm.

Baradat is the author of a variety of articles and publications on technology, eDiscovery, ethics and law, and he is the owner of The Baradat Group, LLC. He provides services to local firms, which include IT services, legal research, trial preparation, digital forensics and business administration.
