Dr. Brian O’Reilly has been with Hodges University since 2012. His area of expertise is law enforcement, violent crimes and investigations.
When he isn’t teaching, he serves as a detective sergeant and supervisor of the Homicide Unit with the Fort Myers Police Department. Previously, he served as the violent crimes detective sergeant, property crimes detective sergeant, road patrol sergeant, general crimes detective and police officer.
In 2014, he received the George Sanders Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award.
His outside interests include exercising, running, traveling, fishing, boating, cooking, reading and watching various sports.
