Betty Sue Wilson is an experienced software engineer, mathematics professor/tutor and watercolor artist. In 1975, she received her Master of Science degree in secondary education from the University of North Texas. From 1969-1979, she served as a math teacher in Texas, and from 1979-2007, she worked as a software engineer in Texas and Florida, specializing in financial and manufacturing applications using the “C” programming language. She has been painting in watercolor since 1988. In 1977, she earned her private pilot’s license (single engine land).

Wilson has been with Hodges University since 2007. She currently teaches watercolor in her spare time and sells her artwork locally. She was elected “Resident Artist 2016” for the Wiggins Pass Art Show and is a Terry Madden certified watercolor instructor.
