Celebrating Black History Month

About This Event

Please join Hodges University for an intimate evening art reception in celebration of Black History Month hosted by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

For your educational and entertainment pleasure, the evening will consist of:

  • A Black History Art Lecture and Book Signing by renowned artist Greg Crumbly
  • Violin Performance by Luna Muni
  • Reading of “A Prayer of Apology to African Americans” by Hodges University Professor Leisha Cali
  • Performance of “Amazing Grace” by Darlene Mitchell, CEO of Darlene and Friends, Inc.

Guests are invited to stroll through our art gallery and enjoy light refreshments throughout the evening.

This event is free and open to the public; however, donations will be accepted.
