Hodges University's Annual Fund has a direct impact on the everyday lives and dreams of our students by meeting the College's most pressing needs - keeping tuition rates down, securing vital equipment for student use and providing scholarship assistance.

Annual funds assist students in reaching their career and life aspirations.

"I pursued my dream of becoming a franchisee of twenty quick serve restaurants. My success of running my own business would never have occurred without the great culture and faculty at Hodges University." Gordon Guerrieri, Class of 2002

"My experience at Hodges University was like no other in my life! I studied in an academically challenging environment with peers who shared real world life and business experience. Clearly the mission to enhance the ability of students to achieve life and career objectives is being met." John Fisher III, Class of 1995

Annual funds support scholarships that make a genuine difference in the lives of students.

"All my life, I've strived to make things better for myself and my family. The fact I received the Neno J. Spagna Scholarship made me want to work harder. It is inspiring to know there are patrons who care enough to put forth the effort to give students like me an opportunity to succeed." Flavia Martin, Class of 2003

"It is difficult and expensive being a single parent; fortunately, the Meftah Foundation Scholarship has provided me with the financial assistance to further my education and reach my goals of being successful and self supporting. It is comforting to know that single mothers are not forgotten in the community. The Meftah Foundation cares about us and our future." Sharon Johnson, class of 2005

Annual funds give donors a sense of purpose and compassion in their giving.

"Private scholarships create a sense of security, belonging, and pride in recipients, particularly those earmarked for nontraditional students. They deserve the help and compassion of their community, not as a charity, but as a moral, ethical and patriotic obligation to our society." Michael Meftah, M.D.

In Their Own Words
