The mission of the Library is to provide students, faculty and the local community with information resources that support and embrace the pursuit of knowledge.
To achieve its mission, the Library supports the following principles:
To work collaboratively with faculty to support student achievement of the University's general educational outcomes.
To actively encourage and facilitate use of library services and collections.
To provide personalized assistance in the use of library resources.
To provide instruction on research strategies and tools.
To collect, develop, organize and provide access to collections that support the University's curricular goals.
To encourage lifelong learning by educating users to be self-reliant and discerning in the selection and use of information resources.
To serve as a repository for the history of Hodges University.
To serve as the local community's Federal documents depository library.
In support of our mission, we actively encourage and facilitate the use of our services and collections. Many of these services are provided here.

Find a Book
Search the library’s catalog to find books, e-books, movies, journals, e-government documents, and more! Most materials check out for 3-4 weeks and renew 2 times, or can be read online. Interlibrary loan lets us locate additional materials from almost any library in the country.
Find an Article
Use the library’s Central Search to find online information, articles, and journals in over 60 specialized academic databases and online resources.
Find a Journal
Use Article Linker to find full-text Electronic Journals (e-journals) by journal title. You can browse by title, by subject and search by keywords in e-journals.
Get Help With Research
Research assistance, subject guides, and useful resources compiled by your friendly librarians. Know what we know - find it in Research Guides!
Federal Government Depository
The Hodges University library is a Congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. All documents are electronic and can be read directly in our catalog.
