Your health and finances are two of the most critical things in your life. Although the University does not require that each student have health insurance, we do believe that it is very important.
Many of the students of Hodges University have medical coverage through their employers. However, if this is not the case for you, we would encourage you consider establishing an insurance policy to assist you meet the financial demands of medical emergencies.
Hodges University has compared and discussed health insurance options with several companies, and we recommend that you consider one of these two options: The Florida College System Student Insurance Plan or Short Term Coverage through Assurant.
The Florida College System Student Insurance Plans are designed to offer cost effective comprehensive accident and sickness major medical benefits for college students and their dependents.
This plan is available to both domestic and international students on a voluntary basis.

With Assurant Health, students can choose an affordable plan that meets their financial and lifestyle needs: Health Access Limited Benefit Plan, Health Insurance for Individuals and Families, or Short-Term Medical Insurance.
