This curriculum prepares students for entry-level positions in healthcare or to matriculate into clinical graduate programs offered by Nova Southeastern University. Current programs offer preparation for graduate school programs in physician assistant, pharmacy, physical therapy or occupational therapy.  See the Undergraduate Catalog for detailed program requirements.
 
This program provides the student with a strong foundation in basic sciences, liberal arts and general health studies.   Students are required to maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA in order to be considered for recommendation to Nova Southeastern University’s programs.

The demand for qualified clinical professionals in the healthcare marketplace has never been greater. The Health Studies program provides a high quality undergraduate experience to prepare students for entry into clinical practice educational programs.   In a unique partnership with Nova Southeastern University, students are able to complete the pre-requisite requirements at Hodges University and be considered for entry into the following programs at Nova Southeastern University:
  • Nursing (bachelor’s degree)
  • Physician Assistant (master’s degree)
