Jeanne Csuy

Professor : Biomedical Sciences

Professor Jeanne Csuy received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Marquette University and Master of Science in Health Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. As a physical therapist, Jeanne held multiple positions including senior therapist at Lee Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital and Rehabilitation Director at East View Medical Center. She was the Director of the Parkinson Outreach Center for Lee Memorial Health System in conjunction with the National Parkinson foundation for 8 years. In 1996, Jeanne obtained a Geriatric Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association.

Prior to joining Hodges University’s School of Allied health, Professor Csuy presented multiple day-long seminars that provided physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses with Continuing Education Units obtained from Florida Gulf Coast University. She also presented at multiple symposiums for lay people living with Parkinson's disease. Here at Hodges, Professor Csuy teaches Anatomy & Physiology I, Intro to Health Science, and Medical Terminology.

Jeanne is married with eight children and 14 grandchildren. She is a native of Wisconsin and enjoys golf and playing with her grandchildren. Jeanne says she is honored to have an opportunity to help guide students to become members of the health professions.
