Fabio Tagliasacchi

Assistant Professor : Liberal Arts

Fabio Tagliasacchi is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Liberal Arts Department. He is also a University Retention Coordinator, founder and past Chairman of the Hodges University Diversity Committee (HUDC), as well as a member of the Academic Committee.

Fabio was born in Mendoza, Argentina to Italian parents in 1954. In 1957 the family immigrated to the United States and in 1984 Fabio moved to Naples, Florida. Fabio is happily married with 2 children. He received his degree in Mathematics from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and his Master's degree from Hodges University.

Fabio contracted polio in 1955 in both legs while living in Argentina and is currently confined to a wheelchair. He is actively serving as a full-time Mathematics professor for Hodges University at both the Naples and Fort Myers campuses. Professor Tagliasacchi enjoys sports, movies and gardening. He can be found most weekends working in his garden or pushing his wheelchair down the road pursuing a faster 10k time.
