Recognition: June 2012 Student of the Month
I am on active duty in the United States Navy. I am a 2nd Class Petty Officer (E-5) and I have been in almost 9 years. I am stationed here as a recruiter for a three year tour that will end September of 2013. I live here with my husband Brian McGraw and our soon to be son Anthony McGraw. My plan is to graduate with a BS in Criminal Justice and then submit an officer package in the Navy.
I enjoy volleyball, family time, being a wife, and work.
Why did you choose Hodges University?
I chose Hodges because after doing my research I saw that their classes were flexible, not to mention the school being accredited.
What do you like best about Hodges University?
I like the fact that they have a veteran’s coordinator (Lee Smith) she has been so helpful and a mentor during my time at Hodges.
What is your favorite class at Hodges University and why?
My favorite classes here at Hodges are within my Terrorism Wheel with Professor Everly and Professional Communications with Professor Nocher. I have a tie between the two because they both have helped me in learning things that really interest me while being amazing professors.
Previous college/educational experience
I attended the University of West Florida in 2002.
I am very thankful for this award, and I could never have done anything without the support of my husband and the staff at Hodges.
