Paul Laninga received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration at Hodges University. In August 2012, Professor Laninga joined Hodges School of Allied Health bringing 28 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant to the University’s PTA program. Paul has worked in a variety of Physical Therapy settings and he served as the Diligent Minimal Lift Coordinator for all of Lee Memorial Hospital.
Professor Laninga is the Director of Clinical Education for the Physical Therapist Assistant program. The Director’s duties include acquiring facilities for internship and the placement, monitoring, and assessment of the students in their Clinical Affiliation. He also teaches several of the core courses.
Paul has two grown sons. The oldest recently completed his time with U.S. Marine Corps and the younger is employed by United Parcel Service. Paul married on January 4th 2014.
