Hodges University has named Dr. Phillip Schaengold as the new chair of its Health Services Administration program. He joined Hodges as an adjunct professor in 2013.
Dr. Schaengold has over 25 years of experience as Chief Executive Officer at academic medical centers including Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, New Jersey; Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA; SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York; Tenet Healthcare Corporation in St. Louis and Philadelphia; The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.; Sinai Health System in Detroit, Michigan; and Menorah Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Prior to teaching in the Health Services Administration program at Hodges University, Phillip also held adjunct teaching positions at SUNY Upstate University Medical Center and The George Washington University Medical Center.
Dr. Schaengold received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at the University of Northern Kentucky, an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.
