November 5, 2013 - Hodges University announces that Dr. Kim Edward Spiezio would succeed Dr. Jeanette Brock as Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Spiezio has had over 25 years of faculty and administrative experience in higher education holding such positions as Associate Vice President of Adult Education, Founding Dean of Adult and Graduate Education, Department Chair, Executive Academic Director for a national grant, and faculty positions as a professor, associate professor, assistant professor and visiting professor. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from University Center at Binghamton, State University of New York, with concentrations in World Politics and Public Policy Analysis. His background includes positions at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania from 1998-2012, his last position being Dean of Adult and Graduate Education.
Dr. Spiezio will begin January 2013 and his title will be Provost. When Dr. Brock transitions to President of Hodges University in July of 2013, Dr. Spiezio's title will become Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost. He will have offices in Naples and Fort Myers, with his main office being located at the Naples Campus.
