The Falciglia Art Gallery of Hodges University presents an exhibition from local artist Betty Wilson. Originally from Texas, Wilson now makes her home in Naples. Her painting style is very colorful and she loves the creative look obtained when painting wet-into-wet. As she puts it, watercolor is not as hard as it looks, and a person need not be good at drawing to be good at watercolor. “I like the way the paint works with the water,” she says. “It can do unusual things that you can’t get with any other medium.” Wilson enjoys teaching the art of watercolor. In 2004, Wilson became a Terry Madden Certified instructor. Details for the showing are as follows:
