International College Announces Outstanding Students of the 2002 Academic Year

International College honored its best and brightest of the 2002 academic year during the 5th Annual Student Recognition Banquet, held on February 9, at the Three Oaks University Center in Estero. The banquet celebrates the accomplishments of these outstanding students. The faculty and administration of International College, with input from various clubs and organizations, selected the students. The 2002 Outstanding Students are as follows:
Student of the Year – Samantha Culver, Computer Information Technology, Lehigh Acres
The President’s Award – James French, MBA, Naples
The Sextant Award – Charissa Weber, Paralegal Studies, Naples
The Publications Award – Lorraine North, Computer Information Technology, Port Charlotte
Student Leadership Award – Jason Brown, Computer Information Technology, Naples
Information Resource Center Research Award – Michael V. Davis, Management, North Fort Myers
The Neno J. Spagna Community Service Award – Loran Yoakum, II, Interdisciplinary studies, Fort Myers
Alumna of the Year – Nancy Solak, MPA, Fort Myers
Outstanding students also were recognized within individual academic departments. These honorees have all excelled academically and have proven themselves to be outstanding student leaders. The Academic Department Award recipients are as follows:
