The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named
Darren L. Bradford the student of the month for September.
The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock.
According to nominating professor, Dr. Nancey Wyant, “Darren is a second-trimester Bachelor of Science in Management student, and maintains a 4.0 average. He is an excellent student who is always well prepared, and consistently mentors and helps other students in the program. In addition to his scholastic activities, Darren devotes much of his spare time volunteering at Hope Episcopal Church. Darren is truly an excellent student and representative of Hodges University.”
Bradford was recently awarded the Carolyn L. Moore Scholarship, awarded to students who are studying in the area of non-profit management. The scholarship is sponsored by the Florida Gulf Coast Society of Fundraising Executives in honor of Ms. Moore.
As student of the month, Bradford will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit.
