Starting Your Own Business In Collier County
The Naples/Collier chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is holding a free workshop titled "Starting Your Own Business in Collier County." The workshop will be held Saturday, October 20, 2001 from 9 a.m. to noon at International College, at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Immokalee Road.
The workshop features speakers examining different aspects of starting a local business. Topics include licensing and permits, legal requirements, business insurance and accounting issues.
The workshop will also explore financing opportunities including the Collier County Microloan Program and programs from U.S. Small Business Administration and the Southwest Florida Regional Development Corporation.
Scheduled to present include Ray Bellows, Collier County planner; William R. O’Neill, attorney, Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs; Ron Mongillo, certified public accountant, Mongillo & Krause, LLP; Frank Rodriguez, business development officer, First National Bank of Naples and Larry Hale, small business unit manager, Gulfshore Insurance, Inc.
