Hodges University will host the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Diversity Council as they present the “Women in Leadership” symposium Monday, October 29, from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Hodges Naples campus.
The focus of this annual event is to bring a diverse mix of successful women leaders together who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues, will educate, inspire and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive to advance within their organizations.
Topics of discussion include networking, giving and receiving, leadership best practices and balancing life and work responsibilities. A dynamic group of female executives will share their experiences and thoughts about advancing in today’s competitive workforce, including Nina Gray, CEO of Neighborhood Health Clinic of Naples; Sarah Owen, President and CEO of Southwest Florida Community foundation of Fort Myers; Teresa Shaw, President and CEO of Boy & Girls Club of Collier County; Kristina Rodriguez with Aging Services of Hendry County; and Dr. Aysegul Timur, Chair of Business and Public Administration programs at Hodges University.
