Score to Hold Small Business Workshop
The Naples/Collier chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is holding a free workshop called "How to Start an Internet Business."
The workshop will be held Saturday, September 15, 2001, from 9 a.m. to noon at International College, 2655 Northbrooke Drive, North Naples, at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Immokalee Road.
The workshop will be led by Donald Horton, an entrepreneur who sells golf equipment and supplies on the Internet. Horton was also an industrial engineer with R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., and worked in sales and marketing management for IBM.
Topics covered will include building a website, marketing and credit card processing. Participants will also examine case studies of successful e-business ventures.
