There is more growth on tap for the Immokalee Learning Center of Hodges University. The school has announced plans to expand the English as a Second Language (ESL) program at the site.
Beginning May 12, Hodges will add an evening session to the popular ESL program. The class will meet four evenings per week and all day Saturday. University officials hope that the evening courses will correspond better with the local working community and their schedule.
“From day one our goal has been to become part of the community of Immokalee and provide the opportunity for its residents to realize their educational goals,” said Dr. Terry McMahan, President of Hodges University. “Our offerings so far have been a perfect fit for the diverse population there, and we will continue to explore future offerings for the Immokalee site.”
Hodges University has main campuses in Naples and Ft. Myers, plus learning sites in Cape Coral and the Florida Keys, as well as the counties of Charlotte, Manatee, Pasco and Hernando in addition to the new Immokalee site.
